New Proverbs Sermon Series Begins Soon!
As we wrap up our time in the Gospel of John, it's been incredible to see how our understanding of Jesus has deepened and transformed our community. Now, we're moving into an exciting new chapter with our sermon series on the book of Proverbs, titled "Proverbs: A Life Well Lived." This series will help us take the truths we've learned about Jesus and see how they shape our everyday lives, guiding us to live with joyful obedience to God.
WHY PROVERBS?
Proverbs is a treasure chest of practical wisdom that speaks to every part of our lives. It's like a roadmap for living in a way that honors God and brings true fulfillment. The message of Proverbs is straightforward: when we believe in Jesus and live according to God's wisdom, we experience a life well-lived—a life that's blessed, prosperous, and leaves a lasting legacy.
WHAT WE WILL EXPLORE?
Foundation of Wisdom: We'll start by exploring the idea that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 1:1-7). This isn't about being afraid; it's about recognizing the greatness of God and letting that respect shape our lives.
Practical Life Lessons: Proverbs gives us guidance on so many aspects of life—how we handle relationships, work, and even our words. We're going to see how these practical lessons help us navigate everyday challenges with integrity and grace.
Blessings and Legacy: One of the beautiful promises of Proverbs is that living wisely leads to blessings and a legacy that impacts generations. We'll look at how making wise choices honors God and brings joy, not just to us but to those around us.
